Important Considerations for Assisted Learning

Therefore, our program is not suitable for learners with high intervention needs who may struggle to manage in such settings, including those with severe physical disabilities, intellectual impairment, or Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Children with severe disabilities or impairments would typically benefit more from remedial education or schools that specialise in providing targeted, intensive intervention.

Assisted learning differs from remedial learning in its core aim: we provide immediate support while following the mainstream CAPS curriculum, with the goal of fostering independence and eventual reintegration. Remedial learning, conversely, often involves a tailored study path where learners may remain throughout their school careers due to more profound and persistent learning difficulties.
