The National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) is a high-quality, nationally recognised qualification that empowers your child to embark on their professional journey sooner. Instead of progressing through Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12, students immerse themselves in NCV Levels 2, 3, and 4 within their chosen specialisation. This innovative approach ensures:

• An excellent academic education meticulously aligned with their chosen career path.
• Practical experience gained within an actual workplace, preparing them for the demands of their future profession.
• A national certificate awarded at the completion of each level, providing tangible recognition of their progress.

While students have the option to enter the workplace after any level, we highly recommend completing Level 4 to maximise their opportunities and expertise.

Pathways to Higher Education

Yes! Students who successfully complete NCV Level 4 are eligible to apply to universities. This is possible provided their NCV qualification aligns with a similar career field to the university programme they wish to pursue. Please note that the university's regular application process and admission requirements will still apply.

At CHPC Heuwelkruin, we offer the dynamic Information Technology and Computer Sciences programme to our already-enrolled students. This programme is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge for a thriving career in the ever-evolving tech industry.

As a reminder, we are currently not open for new enrolments to our NCV programme.

Accreditation and Assurance

Curro Holdings Ltd is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training in terms of section 31(3) of the Continuing Education and Training Act, 2006 (no. 16 of 2006) and regulation 12(4)(b) of the regulations for the registration of private Further Education and Training colleges, 2007. This provisional registration is valid until 31 December 2026. Our registration number is 2018/FE07/054.
