Windhoek Gymnasium's story began with a vision on 17 January 2007, opening its doors to an initial cohort of 280 learners from Grades 1 to 8. Our commitment to excellence quickly resonated with families, as evidenced by our rapid growth to 340 learners by the end of that first year.

• 2008: We proudly expanded our offering with the addition of our secondary school, bringing our total learner community to a thriving 700 students.
• 2009: Recognizing the importance of early childhood development, we introduced our vibrant pre-primary section, warmly welcoming 150 young children to our school family.
• 2016: A landmark year, as we officially joined the prestigious Curro school group. On 1 March 2016, we proudly became a Curro Select school, a testament to our unwavering standards and unique educational approach.
