As a preschool in George Central we understand that working parents don’t get school holidays, which might pose a challenge when children are at home. That is why our preschool remains open during school holidays with a full holiday-care programme at no additional cost. Early childhood development activities continue, although we may arrange some extra fun activities during this time. We are closed only for a specified period during December and January. We accommodate working parents by having an aftercare service until late in the afternoon. This service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include an afternoon snack, supervision and limited homework support. Our aftercare service continues during the holidays and you can also enrol your child on a day-to-day basis – and children from other schools can enrol as a holiday visitor. We accommodate working parents with a challenging commute by opening early in the morning. Children are welcomed by their teachers or teacher’s assistants and enjoy some free play before the preschool programme starts later on. Our school fees include breakfast and lunch. These meals are freshly prepared by a contracted caterer and are delivered to class in time for snack time or meal time. We also carefully accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements, although we might request a medical letter for severe dietary requirements. This is just to ensure that our caterer can correctly interpret and prepare food for your child.
