Learners also benefit from Robotics and Coding as part of the curriculum, equipping them with essential future-ready skills. Aftercare and school transport options are available for added convenience.
Our Teaching Philosophy
As part of the Curro school group, we are committed to delivering a high-quality education through the national CAPS curriculum. Our teaching approach is based on project-based learning and self-discovery, allowing learners to explore concepts beyond the textbook through research, experiments, and practical assignments.
Regular assessments and tests form part of the learning process, while learners are encouraged to make meaningful connections between ideas, apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, and develop strong critical-thinking skills.
Foundation Phase: Building Strong Foundations
Our foundation phase focuses on preparing Grade R learners for the formal learning that begins in Grade 1. During this important stage, learners develop the essential skills that form the basis for all future learning.
- Language: Reading, spelling, understanding, speaking, and listening
- Mathematics: Counting, number concepts, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Life Skills: Physical education, real-life experiences, problem-solving, and creativity
Intermediate Phase: Growing Independent Thinkers
In the intermediate phase, learning becomes more abstract and analytical. Learners engage in project-based learning that encourages research, investigation, and experimentation, helping them understand concepts more deeply and independently.
Robotics is offered throughout the school, supporting logical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy as learners progress.

An essential part of the Curro education is balancing academics with sports and cultural participation. Our activities promote teamwork, collaboration, confidence, and personal growth.
